This little page is where I will put pictures of the projects we do every month.

February Projects:

These cards were designed using the Make it From your Heart book by CTMH.
I used pattern #27 and made 6 cards.  2 of each rotation of the pattern. There are some slight differences between the 2 cards of the same rotation, but only in finding a design I was really happy with.

These are my pages.  The first one is the WSOTG pattern and the second one is the bonus page recommended by the WSOTG.  I don't have my rub on's on them in these pictures.  I was having trouble getting mine to work.  At one of my classes, the girls figured out how to make them work fairly easily, and I just haven't finished mine up yet.
I LOVE this paper pack.  I had to force myself to cut the papers.  I could just sit and look at them!  ha ha
But, alas, they must go in an album!  So, the 'Send in the Clowns' is for my Book of Me album, and the one below is for my son's album. I hope you enjoy them!  c

I will start with the pages and cards from January 2013:

L8R SK8R  - paper pack used March 2013

I had these great pictures of my son at a concert in Denver the month before.  I couldn't believe how well the pictures went with the paper!  I made some minor adjustments on the pattern to get my pictures to work, but as you can see, it made no difference, the pages ROCK!!

The cards were incredibly fun too! Since my son is a mechanic, and always a greasy boy, I just imagined what kind of card he would like.  I made them wild, grungy, and tough!! PERFECT!
I used the Make It From Your Heart Book (CTMH) pattern # 26.
This wonderful gear embossing is from a Tim HOltz embossing folder.  The minute I saw the gears a few years ago, I knew I had to have it.  I do think, however, this is the first time I have used it.  ;)

The "gears" are cut with CTMH ARTISTE Cricut Cartridge.  They fit the stamp set #B1415 In Gear       perfectly.
The embossing used on this card, covering the whole card base, is a Sizzex embossing folder called CLOCKWORKS.
So, that is it for March.  I will past April's workshop soon.
